This week, I'm sharing a few lines from a villain who has tormented the Dragon Knights in all of my stories--Lachlan! We'll revisit him with this powerful excerpt.

EXCERPT ONE
“Deirdre is outside?” roared Angus. Another man came charging at them, but he tossed out the fire, instantly sending the man screaming to his death. Wiping the blood out of his eyes, he lifted his head. “Have ye seen Lachlan?”
“Nae.”
“Behind ye,” warned Angus.
Alastair bent and shoved a dirk into the oncoming man.
