#Celebrating #Love with my #Knight in Shining Armor

I'm a believer...in faerytales (yes, this is how I spell faery), knights in shining armor, romance, and happily ever after.

I've tossed out my regular "Quote for the Week" in favor of celebrating love. Today is my 34th wedding anniversary, and I'm cherishing my own knight.

I write about love--gritty, heart wrenching, and steamy in your face stories. It's who I am and I make no apologies. In truth, I write what I've felt and experienced in my own relationship. Through good times and bad--in sickness and health. We've been through it all. The garden of our marriage has at times, suffered and withered, but never has that first seed of love ever diminished over the years. The vines continue to grow strong and flourish.

We still laugh, tease, argue, and cherish the time spent with each other. When my husband was sick and out of work many months last year, he worried he would be an inconvenience. He actually thought I would be happy when he returned to work. Oh, what a foolish man he can be...I cried the first morning he went back to work, because I missed him.

Life tossed me a curve ball when my knight slipped and fell in front of me that first day we met. Fate and the stars were aligned on that day, and I'll be forever grateful.

So, on this special day of ours, I'll take time out to celebrate another year with my knight. Nothing fancy is planned, only a quiet meal and a movie.

I wonder if he'll let me watch a romance film? ;)
