Excerpt 6 from Lucan ~

Angus wheeled his horse towards his nephew. “Kill them,” he instructed. “Kill them all.”

“No!” Neala cried.

Lucan was helpless to save her, not with so many armed men bearing down on them. The sound of her wretched voice was nearly his undoing. He slashed and hacked at the two men closest to him with a war cry that would raise the hackles on even the most seasoned warrior.
