#Medieval Monday with HIGHLAND REDEMPTION by Ceci Giltenan

Welcome to Medieval Monday! Our theme continues in week three with "First Encounter" between the Hero and Heroine. My guest today is Ceci Giltenan! She's featuring a snippet from Highland Redemption. Remember, leave a comment not only here, but for my third snippet on Ceci's blog, too: https://cecigiltenan.com/ . You'll be entered to win a collection of 14 digital copies from these Medieval authors!

“Tomas, tell me, is it usual for men to name their horses?”

“That’s an odd question, why do you ask?”

“I just heard once that seasoned warriors don’t name their horses, but you called your horse Duff.”

“I don’t know if it’s usual everywhere, but the warriors I know name their horses. A horse is not a piece of equipment. It is a living creation of God, and in battle, an extension of oneself. I’ve heard some men name their swords. It seems much more reasonable to me for them to name a beast they depend on.”

Follow along next week on Barbara Bettis’s website: http://barbarabettis.blogspot.com/ . Remember to leave a comment for a chance to win an e-copy of Highland Redemption or another e-book of your choice by Ceci Giltenan.
