Friday Feast | Garlic and Cheese Rolls

Welcome to Friday Feast in the tavern!

With the holidays fast approaching (10 days, dear readers), I'm planning our Christmas menu, and the main theme will be simplicity. As some may know, my knight had surgery this week (he's doing well and on the mend), so any plans to bake my own bread, rolls, festive breakfast creations have been tossed aside for a more easier prep. Nothing makes me happier than the scent of freshly baked bread. However, I'll save the baking of bread for another week or month. Yet I shall not ditch the Christmas cookies. My knight would not be so forgiving. Besides, a warm Molasses Cookie is just what the doctor ordered, aye?

This version of pull-apart rolls has survived many adjustments--from cheeses, minced onions, herbs, and even fruit. I hope you enjoy this creation and give it a try. It's sure to please those bread lovers in your family.

Sláinte mhath!

Garlic and Cheese Rolls

Ingredients

1 tube refrigerated biscuits (I use Pillsbury Grands)

2 tablespoons butter, melted

½ teaspoon garlic powder

2 tablespoons chopped parsley or dill weed

1 cup shredded mozzarella or gruyere cheese

Directions

Preheat oven to 365 degrees.

Lightly spray cupcake pan. Cut biscuits into fourths and place in a large mixing bowl.

Add butter, garlic powder, parsley or dill, and mozzarella with hands.

Roll each piece into a ball and place 3 pieces inside a muffin tin. There will be two left over (okay to put the last two in a tin).

Bake 15 minutes.
