Long and Short Reviews Weekly Blog Challenge | Making a Reading Decision

Welcome to Wednesday's Weekly Blog Challenge hosted by the lovely people at Long and Short Reviews. The topic this week: How I decide what to read next.

An easy peasy one for me. Even though I'm a linear writer (write one book at a time), I can read multiple books at once. Crazy, right? How do I choose from those few that I've started? Simple. My mood and the season of the year. It all depends on how I'm feeling and what's happening seasonally around me. Do I want a huge historical tome? Or perhaps a Scottish romance? Or maybe a Sci-Fi fantasy? And I'm shocked there isn't a non-fiction book in this list below. Perhaps next month.

Here are a few that I'm currently reading (I'm almost finished with these, too).

What about you? How do you decide what to read next? Do share! Then hop on over here to see what the others are saying.

If you're looking for something to read and indecision plagues you, why not pick up my Celtic fantasy romance, Trial of a Warrior. Need more incentive? It's on sale for 99¢! Here's a sneak peek...

A warrior sentenced to die.

On trial for breaking a supreme Fae law, Fenian Warrior, Liam MacGregor has no regrets. He is prepared to accept his sentence—even if it means his death. However, freedom comes in an unexpected manner and brings with it certain dangers as he travels through the Veil of Ages.

A princess honor-bound to remain hidden.

Princess Abela might be a priestess and the daughter of royalty, but that doesn’t prevent her from doing the unimaginable. She sacrifices duty and honor to set free the man who captured her heart so many years ago. No matter the severity of his crimes, she cannot let Liam die.

A rescue that will bring about a war and divide a kingdom!

Until then, be safe and well. Happy Halloween and Blessed Samhain!

Hopefully, I'll return next week! :)
