Friday Feast | Hot Apple Cider

When I think of autumn, the first thought is my Hot Apple Cider on a lazy Sunday. The heady scents of cinnamon, cloves, oranges, and apples fills my home. I've been known to make a potpourri of different spices mixed in water and let it simmer on low for several hours on the stove top. It's better than a candle or air freshener any day, in my humble opinion.

Though our temps are still blazing here on the west coast, I'll be making a batch of this on the weekend. It will put me in the mood for cozy sweaters, crisp mornings, and the glorious colors and scents of the season.
